Who we are
Unity Circus is an Acro theater organization based in Rubavu, Rwanda, East Africa. It was established in 2018 as a performing group of six young acrobat These six finally founded Unity Circus, an organization that offers a diverse educational program through acrobatics, theater and dance for 130 children from low-income families in the rural area around the City of Gisenyi called Kanembwe and more than 343 children whom indirectly benefiting. In 2021, Unity Circus Sport was registered as a Non-Government Organization accredited by Rwanda Governance Board with the certificate of compliance
N 0 1226RGB/NGO/OC/06/2023. It aims to raise Acrotheater artists that will create a positive living environment in society.

Help us spread a passion for the arts across Rwanda. We believe that all children, regardless of their background, deserve to have access to the healing powers of the arts. Currently, Unity Circus Sport has no official office. Since the organization has started its activities, the organization has allocated different enclosed spaces in Kanembwe having large offices with different rooms in which the artists and children work. This component of training children on protecting the environment due to learning the importance of bees will be an additional skill that will be mentioned to the knowledge provided by those 130 direct beneficiaries.Your donation directly supports these programs.
The Unity Circus Sport is a transformative organization dedicated to empowering youth through circus arts and skills development. As part of its mission to create a positive impact in rural communities, Unity Circus Rwanda has embarked on a project to expand its facilities in order to better serve the children and youth in its programs. This project involves the construction of a training hall in the area where the project exists by extending the existing plot originally designated for a beekeeping project.It is planned that we are working with partners to do our best so that the plot owned by the organization should be extended, hence having construction activities. The plots listed above were designed within the project of environmental protection while placing different Bee Hives for the bees protection.

Unity circus construction project
The success of Unity Circus Sport’s SEZ Germany application we are thrilled to announce the successful approval of Unity Circus Sport’s project application to SEZ Germany, in collaboration with our esteemed partner, Friends of Ruanda Germany. The project, titled “Self-Awareness and Talent Development for Girls and Boys in Rural Rwanda,” focuses on constructing a multipurpose hall in rural Rwanda. This space will serve as a hub for empowering young girls and boys to discover their potential, build self-confidence, and develop their unique talents in a nurturing environment.
This milestone is more than just a step forward for Unity Circus Rwanda. It is a testament to the power of international partnerships, dedication, and a shared belief in making a lasting impact. Works of construction will start by 16 December 2024. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to SEZ Germany and Friends of Ruanda e.V. for believing in our mission and supporting us in turning dreams into reality.
Food distribution during the time of clamity
Food distribution during times of calamity is a critical aspect of emergency response efforts. Ensuring that affected populations of access to an adequate and nutritious food supply is essential for a survival. During calamities such as natural disasters, conflicts or pandemics, the disruption of food supply chains can have catastrophic consequences.
Training children in the circus/Acrotheatre
Many children of all ages from the rural areas around Gisenyi come to Unity Circus to have Circus training as their freetime activity and to express their feelings through acrotheatre. For these children, the Unity Circus is more than just a place for physical training; it is a safe haven where they can escape the challenges of daily life and find joy in creative expression.
